Dear Patients,
Our office has remained closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak and in accordance with the order from Governor Abbott to help flatten the curve of COVID-19 infections in the state. Dental and Oral Surgery offices, though part of essential services, were allowed to only see emergency patients during this time.
Last week Governor Abbott amended his prior executive order allowing dental and oral surgery practices to open starting May 1, 2020. The Texas State Dental Board in accordance with and pursuant to the Governors order has allowed dental offices to reopen on May 1, 2020.
Our first day open will be Monday - May 4, 2020. Starting Monday May 4, 2020, our teams will come back to the offices and start calling our patients to schedule surgeries and consultations. We have worked hard to institute best practices in accordance with CDC and national guidelines to minimize risk and maximize safety for our patients, staff and their families as we open our clinical practices to serve you. Our schedules and operating guidelines have been carefully crafted to keep everyone safe as we open back up to take care of your oral surgery needs.
Thank you for your patience during this time. In the interim period to May 4, 2020, we continue to have one office open that is staffed by the doctor on call to assist individuals who are suffering from acute tooth pain not controlled with antibiotics, swelling from an infected tooth or trauma to the teeth or facial bones.
Thank you,
Dr. Dwyer, Dr. Repa, Dr. Williams, Dr. Unterman, Dr. Lalani, Dr. Hoffman, Dr. Liska and Team at Northwest Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
